University of Ottawa Professor Liam Peyton is the inaugural director of the PhD in DTI uOttawa Program (Digital Transformation and Innovation) which was launched in fall 2014 at the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Faculty of Engineering. Professor Liam Peyton was Director of Graduate Programs in Digital Transformation and Innovation from 2013 – 2016.
Why did University of Ottawa Professor Liam Peyton deny me academic support?
Professor Liam Peyton was:
1) my teaching Professor for the graduate course EBC8102 S – Doctoral Seminar II in E-Business (January 11, 2016 – April 12, 2016);
2) my PhD thesis academic supervisor for Area 2 of the PhD in E-Business program (Secondary Research Area: Information Security Management & Open Source Technologies);
3) my PhD thesis advisory committee member – along with professors Rocci Luppicini and Andre Vellino (January 2016 – December 2019); and
4) my PhD thesis examiner.
After all this, when I asked him for academic support he refused to offer it because he wanted to cover up for what my former academic advisor Professor Rocci Luppicini did. Professor Liam Peyton wanted me to keep quiet about how Professor Rocci Luppicini bullied me, wasted my time, and sabotaged my academic career (see Related content below).
Think carefully about this – what Professor Liam Peyton has done – what he will not hesitate to do to a student or a subordinate who is unwilling to submit to supervisor bullying, malice, and abuse or unwilling to cover up academic malpractice and human rights abuse.
Liam Peyton has demonstrated he is more than willing to destroy academic careers without flinching.
Liam Peyton is faculty member in the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) and cross-appointed to the School of Engineering Design and Teaching Innovation at the University of Ottawa. He is Vice-Dean Graduate Studies for the Faculty of Engineering since 2018. Professor Liam Peyton was Associate Director for Software Engineering (2012-2016).
